Any one had any experience with these bikes, reveiws seem to be good, the reads to be a couple of production issues but the manufacture seems to be dealing with the issues and clients to get everything resolved unlike the Japaneese brands do.

This wouldn’t be replacement  for a T7 as I believe like the other dual sports it’s in a different class being a light weight single cylinder but maybe a future upgrade for my DRZ when I kill it(if that’s possible)

i love the rally screen on this which I think is what draws me so much to the T7.

I am still amazed that a company in Europe can produce bikes without ABS these days. Ever since Euro 4, they haven´t sold a single bike in Europe with plates.

The bike looks good, but what can this do that a KTM690/Husky 701 can´t?

I know the USA distributer.  These are amazing bikes, but they are not street legal in many areas. In my state, I can license plates for it and ride on the street, but states like California would never allow one of these on the streets.

I have ridden it for 2 weeks in portugal and morocco and it is amazing! Out of the box it is ready for some dirt action. The suspension is great, comfy seat and riding position and nice bits all around. I would compare it to ktm 690 - which i have only ridden for a demo day. Compared to the xt660 tenere which i owned and travelled in australia - the AJP beats it totally for fun factor🙂 I believe it has a huge following in australia - and rightly so. Check out the aussie forum on advrider - lots of info.

If only I could buy it in Denmark i would!

It’s a lot cheaper straight from the crate plus it already has a comfortable seat and a nice looking rally screen and a 17 litre tank as standard that is a huge add cost for the 690/701.

not to mention all the reliability issues of the 701 and for where I ride that’s what’s most important to me.
