Can anyone comment on the 2023 model TFT display/bluetooth/ABS mode upgrades?

Are they only for 2023 models released in Europe and not the USA? 

Asking b/c my American friend  just picked a (supposed) 2023 up from dealer but does not have any of the updates.

Noticed both Australia & US Web sites still with the lcd display , maybe Japan hasn't switched over yet ,Euro bikes assembled in France , maybe they think the Euro market is a bit more competitive with regard to gizmos especially with the relaease of the honda transalp & Aprillia, personally nothing wrong with the old screen , got all the info I need

Only the bikes built in France are getting the new updates.

 

Can't say I care about them anyway, I bought the T7 for no tech.

Like wise i bought my T7 couple of weeks ago so didnt care about TFT just bought based on simple bike just to have TFT would've cost me £2000 i can have nice holidays in £2000

I have the WR with TFT etc. 

honestly couldn’t give 2 £&@@. 
the Yamaha Ride app os sh!te and not worth the MBs it’s holding. 
connectivity is useless, basically you just get a notification count. 
If i had to choose, i wouldnt pay extra for the TFT. Also, the bluetooth module takes underseat space.
