Doesn't look wide enough at the back to be sport touring

There will be no steps in our rally seats. I will post up pictures as development goes on.

Cant wait for the low / comfort 1 piece complete seat.

That's the only reason I've held off of buying is I just want something that's "plug and play" vs something I have to have to deal with stapling and foam etc....

Also, if you decide to sell the bike for any reason in the futur, you cannot put it stock quickly.

I’m also waiting for the low 1 piece. I hope it’s not wide like the 2 pieces seat.

I am thinking the standard height 1pc will more than likely sit lower than the firm OEM foam seat . . . due to softer foam and flatter seat pan.  Especially for 200 lb riders like myself.

It should sit like the Yamaha accessory (firm foam) low seat.

Sorry no review yet. It was still to cold and ugly to take it out for a spin. This weekend hopefully.

My tall comfort came in today. Top quality as always. Thank you @Seat Concepts . Sad it was just tossed onto my front step. I caught the delivery on camera.

Yes UPS was the broker but it was a CanPar van that dropped the parcel off.

It’s a foam and vinyl fabric. What harm could come to it if it was tossed in a box onto your porch?
How is this “sad”?

It was supposed to have a signature to recieve the parcel... you know so it is not just tossed on a front step for someone else to walk by a steal it.

CanPar and UPS are awful. I had a package go missing for 3 months with CanPar. UPS delivered once to my neighbor's house lol. Good thing I knew them and they are honest. Purolator and Canada Post are basically the only reliable ones here in the frigid north.

Just took my stock seat apart and have the same issue. Ordered the sport touring comfort. The foam does not fill the cover by at least an inch or so on both sides.

Am I missing something?

What did they tell you Xtina?

Might be an optical illusion but I'll double check

Wanted to show all of you the reason we chose to make our own pan instead of copying the OEM one piece. The blacked our foam is the stock foam (tall rally cut down to standard height) in the OEM one piece and and the cardboard shows you the additional foam our seat has by removing the tool pocket. This change makes a standard height possible with a fair amount of foam and a low seat possible at all.

I’m guessing that answers my question for those of us with the one piece already- probably no replacement foam/cover for the stock pan to lower the overall height?  (I love the tool area- can fit my Mosko Pinner in there!)

Gun- We will not be making a replacement foam for the stock one-piece base at this time.

How close to production on the 1pc?

With your flatter seat pan, and softer foam (compared to OEM stock seat foam) is it wrong to assume the 1 pc std height will sit a bit lower than the stock OEM stiff foam seat (especially for robust 200 lb riders)?

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

We are about 1-2 months out. We are waiting to have all 6 versions available before releasing the 1 piece design. That way we can do a group buy at one time.

As for trying to use a softer foam to gain enough difference in reach to the ground, that would not be a viable option. The stock seat is not thick enough to make that soft and not hit the pan or feel like a marshmallow.

If you have the tall factory rally seat then our standard height 1 piece seat will be noticeably lower.
