Long Haul fuel tank

Another small step and upgrade for upcoming Swedish TET trip in October. 3 litres, so not a game changer, I know; it's rather for the peace of my mind, I guess.. 🤯

Here's a  link for a 5 litre on eBay, just search plastic fuel can for your best price. Adventurespec is pre drilled for topaz system. I have drilled 4 new mounting holes.

Hehe, good one Louis 😄 that's exactly my set up, I just installed the mount closer to the seat (my tank is slightly smaller).

I have a rally seat, so mounting further back allows me to remove the seat without removal of the fuel can. I also have a waterproof duffle bag for camping gear which fits up to the can,with just enough leg room for my long legs.

I pushed Tenere a bit harder today for a test drive, some bumpy fire roads and gravel highways. Tank is rock steady, I'm very happy with the results.

As Bimmer said, it's also quite tidy, sit nicely inside the shape of the bike.
