Wobbly GPS

Had quite a long ride on motorway yesterday and found that my big GPS (Garmin 276Cx) seems to shake from side to side quite a lot. So I made a bracket to link it to the main instrument bracket. I got the idea from the one that Donner Tech make, but mine is just made from 2.5mm aluminium cut and bent. It seems to work great.

thats a great idea my garmin 590 shakes a lot i will copy your design  and give it a try

I cut one out of thin card first to make sure it would fit, and the bends would be in the right place.

Was thinking of doing something similar - I had two different devices on my bar and both tend to rotate themselves down when hitting bumps. 

 

 

On my Super Tenere i had a similar problem and used a piece of gal;anized pipe strapping to keep my bar from rotating. It was pretty dumb but worked. Your idea here is much nicer!
