Wondering the same. Although the elctions are important, I'm wondering why this needs to be discussed in a motorcycle forum. 🤔

What section of the Forum are you in when you reply?  Look and you will find your answer... BTW who do you think will win @luxinbourg?

I realize this is the off topic section,  and political whatever is acceptable here,  but I doubt you're going to snare anyone into replying/ engaging.   Everyone is sick of the bullshit, and people are surfing forums like this in part as an escape / distraction from the bullshit.

"How rare that we can point ourselves inevitably west and go, go, go. Run out the highway and the hills. Slide our fingertips over the creases and the valleys of the impossibility that is America. You can’t grasp its vastness from a plane. It’s diversity from a map. You have to put your feet on the ground. Your hands in the dirt."   -   Zach Bowman

I come to this forum to get away from the politics and toxicity of this election. It's literally on every single source of media. This forum is a place about motorcycles, and NOT politics. I would like to see it stay that way.

Went to a Trump MAGA Rally Caravan on my T700 this past Sunday, since it's Red White and Blue @ Redondo Beach California. Over filled two parking lots and cars were wrapped around the parking lot for blocks. Estimates 800-1,000 vehicles.

People of all nationality, races, ages in attendance. All peaceful and mega polite. No counter protesters on location. Only saw a few along the route (less than a dozen) who weren't happy with our choice.

Almost a 3 hour journey, until we hit the end of the planned route. Police and Fire Dept helping with the vehicle flow.

I guess one benefit of these type of threads is it gives me solid info on who to add to my 'ignore' list... which really kinda sucks because those people may have good motorcycle related info and be otherwise friendly; but they chose to squander the fraternity of motorcyclists for some cheap political Shet slinging.

Wow that is really sad. You need to avoid threads you don't like and move on if you can't regulate yourself, remember to read the rules before you post... Respect is the key!

"Ok, you can complain about politics, but do not attack or belittle another members views.

Personal attacks, name calling towards other members will get you BANNED.

NO GUN PICS OR DISCUSSIONS. Our friends around the world do not share your love for guns. This website's traffic is more important than your guns.

NO NUDE PICS. We don't want to see your porn.

Do not share posts from here anywhere else! Guests cannot see this section, help me keep it that way please.

Other than that, have fun in here and remember to show each other respect. There was once a day when opposing political views still demanded respect from each other. You may disagree, but you must always show respect. "

Voted in person today.

I did another MEGA MAGA Trump Train Caravan today from Rancho Cucamunga (San Bernardino County) to Asuza (Los Angeles County) on the T700, 35 mile ride one way on Route 66 (Foothill Blvd).

We hit Asuza College campus APU and turned back to the start to Rancho Cucamunga.

We did hit the tail end of the Caravan until we were back at the start. That's 70 miles of MEGA MAGA TRUMP Train Caravan.

I was up front with all the other bikers behind the Lead Caravan vehicle.

Just one group of the bikers at the staging area. Many more joined up at the front.

Lead Caravan Truck appears at the 5:00 mark. Bikers and I (can't really see) behind the White Truck and flags.

Estimated 10,000 - 12,000 vehicles.

An "alternative fact" that John Cleese wrote this as his take on the current US election.

"In light of your failure to nominate competent candidates for President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately,” it continues....

Sadly John didn't write this, a fact check revealed this was "fake  news" but I think that this well written satire really sums up what most non Americans feel.

Only the very very  stupid support and promote a candidate. Both  are over  qualified village idiots. Apologies to  the very very stupid the candidates are already chosen, so if you're loving one of these guys perhaps you can run next time, your qualified!

Just voted today. Independent voter my entire life, though siding GOP for 70% of the time I'd guess. Former Army (1988-1999 Brainerd, Minnesota). 2016 I voted primarily Republican on local and State issues, but it was the first time in my life I didn't vote for President. Hillary should be in jail for her email debacle, and I couldn't vote for Donald based on his corrupt past.

But after 4 years of Trump's CONSTANT lies, 9 of his staff sent to prison for various felonies, berating 17 Generals and Admirals just because they voiced concern over Trump's dishonesty and 71 Republican Conservative former National Intelligence Directors wrote a letter voicing that Donald is a clear and present danger to the USA's safety. We've lost all our allies and are the laughing stock of the world, in 2018 he was fined $2 million for stealing money allocated for Children's and Veteran's groups and his charity was shut down for fraud, he disrespected our own Military in Helsinki, on stage and said he trusts Vlad Putin over our Intel, he said he writes "love letters" with Kim Jung Un the worlds worst Dictator, record farms lost from his trade wars, he took a $421 billion deficit in 2016 (down from $1.1 trillion in 2008) and wracked it back up to a $1.2 trillion deficit in 2019 and now there's 228,000 dead from Covid, the worst in the entire world and a $5 trillion dollar deficit from his inability to lead and he turned this pandemic into political points saying things like "wearing a mask is Democrats wanting to take away your Constitutional rights" which is going against EVERY single health professional.  He even berated a 15 year old little girl from the safety of his Twitter. Why? Because she loves the Earth.

Today was the first time in my life I voted solid Democrat down the board (with the exception WA State Attorney General). After 4 years of Trump's constant lies, childish and dysfunctional endless Tweeting, constantly blaming others for his faults and bankrupting America like his 5 previous bankruptcies I'm exhausted with Trump as President and willing to give ANYONE else a chance. I hope and Pray the GOP finds someone again with integrity and honesty in 2024.

Hard to say if anything will change though with Trump trying desperately to stop people from voting. Thats the only way he'll win. Judges in Harris County, Texas (a predominately Democrat county) now have stopped the GOP twice from invalidating 124,000 ballots. The only way Trump can win is if people don't vote. Or can't. And Trump might have done enough damage to win him a second term.

I'm in no way excited about Biden, the guy can barely tie his shoes. But at least he's not a corrupt lying tanning bed queen like Trump.

Well, I guess posting on here about politics is really fun! Thanks OU812!!!

The one thing though I think most Americans and Trump supporters can agree on is that the last 4 years under Trump have been an absolute disaster. And that unity does feel good.

Thanks for that, Johnnygolucky. I changed parties because of Trump. Most days I just shake my head in disbelief and dismay. Wouldn't it be AMAZING to have a norm-following president again? Bring back GW! In retrospect, I love that guy.

I agree with you totally. I voted for McCain. I admired him greatly. A true patriot. Who could work with both parties.

Here's a fun Trump lie. Lie number 12,529. "Nobody else could do this. I mean, nobody thought we could get the Veterans Choice Act approved.". Donald Trump, Michigan rally in January. A lie he has now told on record at his rallies and one of his employees at Fox, Sean Hannity, over 156 times.

Being a Vet, this is one of his lies that cuts to my core.

For fact: The Veterans Choice Act was a bipartisan bill written and proposed by Sen John McCain and Sen Bernie Sanders and was signed into law by then President Barack Obama in 2014.

Trump's endless lies has made me switch parties, at least this 1 election. And not only me, but my family. And almost my entire family (4th Generation Farmers who've watched Trump's policies destroy their economies and livelihoods) still in Minnesota. All sick and exhausted and embarrassed with Trump.

He does not deserve to be President of the United States of America. I'm opening myself up to give someone else a chance.

Truly a genius, who needs fake news?

Absolutely astonishing, isn't it? Every day we've shaken our heads at the idiotic things Trump has said for the last 4 years. Moron doesn't even come close. I get why some people voted for him his 2016, Hillary was a terrible person, but you'd have to have a cult-like mentality to still support the lying fool at this point.
