I've got the Tusk bag on mine. Good value.

I'm old fashioned and like having a map pocket.

The Tusk Olympus Tank Bag is the ideal companion for your adventure or touring motorcycle rides. Tank bags are the perfect place to store the items you need the most frequent access to, and the Olympus Tank Bag serves this purpose...

I've got the large.

So what has to be done to gas up the T7 with the Tusk bag on?

Unclip the two front clips and roll it back on the seat. No big deal.

I've been using tank bags for years on many bikes, never felt like having a tank bag was a problem filling the tank.

I run a tank bag with a map pocket on my motorcycles......not too big and not too small. I am also a “chugal” (cheap and frugal). I have a medium sized magnet mount Rapid Transit bag on my X 300 Versys and found the same bag with suction cups is available. So, for $25.00 on E Bay, I ordered one and it fits perfect on myT7. I am running both bikes with the bags reversed because they fit the tank and gas cap location better. It fits great and won’t scratch the tank like strap mounted bags do.

I like the idea of magnetic, (also the price!) Quick question though, do the magnets actually hold on with enough strength, and would they hold on the trail?

It has suction cups holding the bag on as the tank cover is painted plastic.  I have had no problems on rough rock roads as it has not been trail ridden.

They look great, Nick Sanders would love them.

Where did you get them from? I've not seen them on the Touratech website.

Using a Nelson Rigg on mine that I previously had on my old KLR. Fits perfectly. Similar design to the Giant Loop but 1/3 the price. Nelson-Rigg CL-1045 Sport Adventure Slim Motorcycle Tank Bag

I don’t suppose you have any photos you can share with this bag installed on your bike?

I'm happy with my waterproof Yamaha Tankbag made especially for the T7. I've no problems standing or seated and can it's quick and easy to remove with two clips front a two back.

Enduro Motorcycle Tank Bag by Wolfman Luggage - Small, narrow tank bag keeps needed items handy on Dual Sport and Dirt Bikes

The size (about six litres) just right for me, not a fan of big tank bags.

Have had this for years in many different bikes.

@Totti - how is the fit on this tankbag on the T7 tank? cheers

@Toei

As requested. The tank bag is a cortech 8 litre. I did a quick search and it looks like it’s been discontinued and replaced with a 10 litre.  I think the base is the same, it looks like the new one just has a zipper to expand it.

I think if I was doing it again I’d mount the magnets up a bit closer to the top of the tank. I’m covering enough of the fuel cap here that I have to remove the bag to fill up so I might as well bury the cap. I do not even notice the bag while I’m on the bike.

@TrepsI temporarily mounted the Wolfman Enduro tank bag from my KLX250 onto the T7. The fit is good, size is good for quick access to desired smaller items. I like it except the map pocket is tiny if you like paper maps in addition to a gps.

I have the rear bottom edge mounted even with the seat top edge. Simply unclip the top and fold back onto the seat to gas up. I'll probably upgrade to a tankbag with a larger map pocket for the T7.  A pic for reference:

I’m running the Giant loop Diablo on mine. To me it’s proportional to the bike. I did try the Fandango but every time I looked at it, it reminded me of slash from Guns and roses.

I got my tank bag installed today.  I was indecisive about the rear straps. I’m pretty happy with the fit at this point. With the bladder full it doesn’t feel as roomy. Will see how much stuff end up there. Still indecisive on rear luggage. No big overnight trips planned yet. There are plenty of day trips to do still.

Has anyone fitted the new Wolfman Tank Pannier base to their T7 yet?

I'm slightly unclear on how this might fit the curves of the T7 gas tank and how they might interact with knees - would like to see if anyone's tried these out yet.  Images below are from Wolfman's website.

Quickly connect your motorcycle bags to your bike with our new, waterproof B-Base. This base is designed for larger ADV and enduro bikes.

I installed an SW Motech Evo ring on my tank. I was planning on buying an Evo City bag because when I dry fit the Evo GS bag I already have (before I got the tank ring in the mail), it seemed like it would be a little too big to work. But when I got the ring installed, the Evo GS actually fit... barely! It is a little big on this bike and the Evo City would probably be a little more proportionate - but bigger is better! Amazing the amounts of various things I have fit in the Evo GS bag over the years. I believe its the biggest bag SW Motech makes. Its been across/around the country and up through Canada on an FJR. Now it continues its life on the T7... New adventures to come 🙂

Wolfman Explorer

This bag is several years old, though unused till now. I love Wolfman products. This tank bag has rear mounting straps that are aft pointing rather than side-pointing, so it's anchored to the frame just below the seat rather than across body panels. I have the bag mounted just far enough back to clear the gas cap though unclipping to access the gas tank would be a non-issue.

643200702_20210517_162644-1621294497384-L1.jpg.5cbd7232147d1812180ca5e27aeb1de6.jpg

It mostly contains a 3-liter Camelback. I slip the mouthpiece through a D-ring and it generally stays there under all conditions yet is easy to remove and replace without looking at it. Been using this system for many years.

When seated, I don't even notice it. When standing, I can feel it between my knees but it's flexible, so not obtrusive.

It's not waterproof but the vinyl map pocket does a pretty good job of keeping water off.

Pay no attention to the Kriega US5 holding my cooling vest on the left side Givi Engine Guard.

Adding pics of the Nelson Rigg Hurricane to this thread. Haven’t ridden with it on there yet, but in the garage test it seems to get in the way. It is too boxy to conform to the tank shape so I’ll likely return it.
