Tool Kit

Recommended Posts

I have a small tool kit that I carry on my Beta 450 enduro that I allows me pretty much fix anything (outside of the engine) trail side. Since I'll move it from bike to bike I just decided to add a few tools to it so it could handle anything Tenere related. Outside of your basic screwdrivers, metric sockets, wrenches and allen keys I tried to identify what else I'd need for the Tenere. Here's what I think I need so far:

1. An allen key for the exhaust hanger bolt.

2. A large allen key, or Rally Raid product, for removing the front axle. I actually bought this. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S8SHT3Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

3. My rear axle wrench is the same on both bikes so I'm ok with that.

4. What about a spark plug wrench. Does the Tenere need a special spark plug removal tool or will a regular socket work?

Any other basic tools you would recommend? I'm not riding crazy remote places so I don't want to bring an entire tool chest "just in case".  Just looking to complete my tool kit with any more "must have" tools. Thanks!

Check your rear axel wrench will actually fit. Have herd of others not being able to use the ones they have due to limited movement. At this stage I'm using a socket and in the process of building a diy breaker bar/front axel remover/tyre iron/extender thing.
