I was out riding the last couple of days.  The gravel roads are dry and dusty.  Luckily the wind was blowing well enough to clear the dust quickly.  Still, a lot of greenery around the county just the same.  Here are some pics.  I'll start with a shot of my GPS after the ride today.

I was out and about early this morning as it will be 30 C this afternoon. The first shot shows a wheat crop in the background that is almost ready.  The 2nd pic shows the road leading into infinity.  The 3rd shows a pea crop that either got burnt from a month of heat and hardly any rain or maybe it's ready for harvest. .

After a trip to the "Chip truck" (used to be in a truck ) for some lunch I went wandering some Hydro line cuts and old farm roads, trails etc.

 

Used to be a road here

 

The dirty bike at home, not to bad, but carrying about 20lbs extra of good old blue clay under her

 

Not many tires are good in wet clay, but knowing that I would eventually want a better rear, the next day I spied this Tractionator for a decent deal on ADV, it was somewhat local, so a few hours and 500km later I got it home, maybe for a spring time install.

@roygilbo First impressions for the initial 100 miles on the Tall Comfort is good, a bit firm, but good. Planning a 600+ mile motocamping trip, with about half that on dirt,  very soon. Will report back after the trip.
