Took mine out for a 200 mile ride in the evening sun. Loved every minute of it and found the cafe open. Result

Nice. I maybe from N.Ireland, but I recognise that as Hawes.

Changed the oil and filter at 512 miles. Afterwards, I installed some more dirt worthy tires, and went for a ride.

Pirelli scorpion rally front, mitas e07+ rear. I ran the front before and really like it in soft sand and for general dual purpose riding.  The rear is hooking up pretty good too, but not as well as some other tires I've ran.

Oh they do great on the road in my opinion.  I can still take the courage just as fast as before and they stop well too.  we don't get a lot of rain where I live but I don't expect any issues on the wet roads.

I’ve been proudly showing off the new ride at work for the last few days...

Plus you choose the best (and fastest) colour option too. More ninja than show pony!

Paid it off, does that count? I guess that was more for me than it.

Funny that the AT has a high fender and street tires.

Installed a set of Highway Dirt Bikes handguards I had laying around. Then replaced the stock 12v plug with a quick charge USB port.

Fitted the adventure spec rear rack.

Very impressive quality, welds and weight. It weighs hardly anything.

Sprayed the standard hand protectors with a can of red paint I had, looks a lot better and a bit more visible.

Had some threaded rod which I joined onto some eye bolts and now my front suspension plastic is protected from a fall and have some good tie down points. The left hand side goes down to is a smaller diameter hole so I cut the bolt of the eye bolt and drilled it out and retapped it to fit a smaller thread.

Cut some rubber to make a mud flap on the front wheel guard.

Put a 12v cig lighter socket on the right hand side to charge an iPad in my bag while riding and run a small compressor

I also cut the snorkel on the airbox down about 13mm on the end that goes into the filter. It goes too far down into the filter and won’t work properly. After doing this and adding some rubber spacers between the frame and bashplate  on each of the 4 bolts which I had to replace with longer ones  and elongate the holes the bike is a lot better quieter and smoother.

So far. AS skid plate and crash bars, Bigger aluminum foot pegs, R&G side covers, Yam chain guild heated  grips and Rally seat (not in use).

On order or soon to be. Lowering links, tail tidy, Bark busters, Handlebars (OME bent first fall), larger windshield or extentions for long trips, adjustible levers, and a usb outlet. Also need a throttle lock but still looking at options.

I just received a more agresive off road rear tire. I live in an area with clay soil so OEM tires are not great.
