What have you done for your T7 today?

Finally home from a trip on T7 and I installed the CRG Arrow mirrors from Rottweiler.

Only one tip if you have barkbuster brand guards cheat it a 1” back towards you from where I put my front bolts if you are a tall guy.

I’m 5’9” tall so what I have works fine for me.

haha, I got my Big Boy spring from Touratech Canada,  I can tell you the bike rides so much better, I'm  (210-230 with gear) and the stock spring was jaring, unbelievable difference,  I at 30 mm of sag now 10 clicks preload, 16 comp 8 rebound .  Do it now, order that big boy, your bum is gonna thank you!😛

Bought a motopressor pocket pump and MotionPro aluminium bead breaker/lever combo and they fit perfectly in the void under the Rally seat. You have to look hard to see the levers but they're there, made to measure!

Great service from Rugged Roads. Ordered Sunday, here Tuesday.

Awesome Rally Raid wheel removal spanner and enough tools under pillion area and will strap two tubes on the Adventure spec rack. Sorted !

Perfect set up for an upcoming trip.

TrippleClamp HDEP Engine Covers arrived today and were installed to protect the vulnerable, Water Pump Clutch and Stator,  The set fit well, although they do cover up the cool looking Bronze covers... I did notice a couple stock allen Bolts were really tight all the way out of the cases, some requiring more than 10ft lbs to remove, I reinstalled with Blue loctite and set to the required torque.

Hazardous air advisory for thick smoke around our area, so bad I can hardly breathe in the garage, let alone outside. Since I'm not riding these days, I installed the Tusk hard pannier racks, anticipating delivery of the boxes today.  Rear rack is going to come in handy ( Rotopax)  and I like the muffler protection as well.  Planning a Grand Canyon North Rim, 4 night moto camping trip next month, so I'm getting the rest of my Farkle pile installed.

My Mivv arrived! Install went smooth as expected,  Mamma Mia it sounds better than Andrea Bocelli during a performance in Tuscany, I will work on a sound clip...

Cheers!

I use mitas E-07 on my old Dr650 and the tread design is slightly different from the tire on your pic.

E-07+ is more road oriented.

I might be wrong, but it looks like you have fitted mitas E-07+.

mitase07plus-1024x575.jpg

The E-07+ was developed with a goal to keep the tire performance in line with increasingly powerful motorcycles and ever more demanding riders.

When it comes to a true 50/50 adventure tire, Mitas E-07 is one of the most desired choices among adventure riders, who love to combine comfortable road riding with more adventurous off-road getaways.

correct....eo7+ dakar.  the dakar is supposed to be more puncture resistant. i am thinking this is the wrong choice for me. the stiffer construction is giving a harsher ride. at speed its ok but at slow speeds you feel the blocks. it turns slower too.this tyre is probably ok if you venture off road on a regular basis. i dont, so i will go for  more of a road tyre next time.

Nothing spectacular just scored a good deal on the tank pad at my local dealer.

It’ll always be covered by my tank bag but it says Yamaha on it so I like it.

Installed my Enduristan Sandstorm 4X tankbag. I missed the space in front of me to stash my money, reading glasses, iPhone, keys and other stuff. Very happy with this tiny jewel!

Installed Tusk large (37L) hard panniers and rack for an upcoming motocamping trip at the Grand Canyon.   Functional,  yes, they'll hold all my gear and then some plus,  deep water crossings won't be a concern.. 😉 Appearance wise?  Well, let's just say they'll be coming off except for long trips.  I'll do an in- depth review on them after the trip, but initial impressions are they are ultra stout construction with a fragile finish, but they're for banging around in the brush,  so desert pinstriping will just be badges of honor.

Installing r&g case protectors and my harbor freight allen wrenches did a great job rounding out the bolt heads lol. So I'll be replacing those bolts with something better from Ace and ordered a new allen set.
