I made some plates to fit where the passenger pegs were so I could have a tie down spot for the Reckless 80

Improved this. Added an 11, 12, 13, 14mm sockets to allow the straps to wrap better and as storage for the sockets.

Made my own anti-bobble-head bars from 6061 Al stock. Was pretty rusty with my welding, but they're strong. Also put in a USB outlet in the blank on the right side. Wired it to the switched aux power under the right side fairing. Will try them both out on a 5-day ride coming up in two weeks 🙂

Update: Painted them flat black. Silver was distracting. Did the GPS bar too, and I think I like it better black. Leaving the windshields off for now. Feels nice for dirt this way.

@Liquidape  Have you noticed your top bag kind of juddering back and forth just slightly while riding? I have a 40L top bag like yours pretty much sitting on a couple smaller side bags and notice this happening a little. Ive never motorcycle camped before and was out doing a test ride to make sure my securing methods stay put. It seems like the wind hits the sides of the bag just a little and i think its moving at the rear seats latch underneath.  I don’t think theirs anything i can do about it and I’m guessing its normal, just wondering if others have noticed the same.

(Your bike pic just for reference)

No not really. The top bag is part of the Mosko Moto reckless 80 system. It has Velcro pads that hold it down to the pad that the leg holsters are connected to and it gets strapped down by the beaver tail as well. Pretty rock solid so far

Thanks for the reply.  Ill have to continue my efforts on better securing that bag on my bike. Your system looks great.

I’ve got on of those on my T7 and my GS. Really like the cool covers.

Replaced rear factory tire with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II. No more howl, nice and smooth. Recently replaced footpegs with Pivot Pegz, factory seat replaced with Corbin. Only thing needed now is for Madstad to make a windscreen. Then, it will be perfect!!!

High exhaust mock up complete. Mild steel with exhaust wrap for now. When the stainless pipe shows up, the final version will be built with a proper heat shield for the boot.

I can't really help you there as I'm in UK.

Here's the link to their website.............

Would love to see some pictures and links especially of the Corbin.

Here are some pics as requested!!

As far as difficulty removing the factory tire, BELIEVE IT!  I just blew off the comments about how difficult it is to get off, and found out it IS very difficult, as if it is glued to the rim. The ride is so much quieter, and bike rides waay smoother with the Pirelli Trail II.

As far as the Pivot Pegz, they are a little longer than factory, but am thinking of installing the extension that make them about 1" longer.

The windscreen is a Givi that I cut down. Works pretty well, but will buy Madstad as soon as available.20210508_160202.thumb.jpg.d4066b4dab8f4c6bb4a45e54605b6791.jpg20210508_160234.thumb.jpg.cae82d4aebd7a1874e683b6289f9ad96.jpg20210508_160245.thumb.jpg.814e2d9b26a765a2a10b5538f6f48e41.jpg20210508_160307.thumb.jpg.9934ad822fa731fc612d41e4ad8b8dd8.jpg

Thanks! I really am happy with it so far. Have not been on it more than 20 mile stretch, so more time will tell. But, I did throw the box away it came in, considered it a keeper.

While the wheels were off for fitting speedo correcting abs rings, figured it was time to give the mitas E10’s a go. Stoked to get these boots dirty & see how they hook up off tarmac.

Well... not so new anymore. Performance seems good, but lifespan looks questionable 🤨..Better back off on the wrist twist & wheel spin if I aim to get any mileage outa these puppies...

My Kenda big blocks look similar to that. I was having too much fun lighting up the rear both on and off road. Must take it easy I keep telling myself. Bet you had a blast, despite the wear.
