@Windblownhow were the new wheels and tires?

Front worked great. I still had the OEM rear wheel with a Tusk ADV D/S tire on it for this ride.  I mounted the new rear wheel with the Rallz on it this morning.   I don't expect to see too much difference in the rear.

Had I been thinking I would have waited until I pulled the OEM rear wheel off and transferred the Tusk tire to the new wheel to finish it off rather than have the Rallz already mounted.  That Tusk tire is seems destined to live life as a take off. I had it on my 790 for a short time last year and removed it for something else.  Now it's back on the shelf again. Hard to say what bike it might end up on next.

@WindblownDo you mount your tires yourself?

Yep. Picked up the habit a long time ago and just sort of stuck with it.

This morning we had a convulsion of winter with a nice blizzard on the highway and this was when i arrived at work.

In the afternoon when i went back home most of it was away and what was left was a slippery goo with some puddles.

The forest section was especially tricky as they are cutting some trees with heavy machinery.
It is already very slippery when wet, the ground is a bit like peet and feels like riding on a mattress and the leaves prevent the knobby's dig to solid ground but now there are ruts and a bit further it goes down with a rut created by the heavy rains sig-zagging across the ruts caused by the vehicles of the forestry  department.

The steam is from the mud drying on the engine.
At the worst part i didn't want to loose my momentum for a picture.
It's still a lot of fun and a good practice.
@Tenerider we rode here also but this time you would have a very hard time on the STR's 🤣

I wasn't brave enough to ride today @Ray Ride4life !

Same weather here.

The danger was too high. Not because of the snow, it's the West German car drivers who go completely mad when there is a snowflake on the horizon.

And to be honest, I'm a bit scared of radically changing conditions on the road. I really prefer unpaved roads when there is snow or ice - it feels safer to me.

Not as exciting with mud & slush, but some fantastic gravel over the weekend past with a couple of other mates on their respective steeds. This was one of the many gravel roads we found through or weekend gravel hunts.

The chance to stop in the middle of the road and not having to worry about any traffic whatsoever

A stretch of gravel skirting the a forest, so basically in the middle of nowhere (emphasis on Middle of nowhere)

Hello follow T7 enthusiasts.

Check out my last video from a T7 trip this weekend in Andalusia Spain.

This is very cool terrain.  My friend has a place in Mijas, would love to ride in your area one day.

Just a quick saturday afternoon ride to scratch an itch that was bugging me from not being able to get out and about due to the weather we have had!

Too much salt and sand and crap on the roads for the T7, it was behind the DR in the garage anyway, but a relatively warm day in Feb required a ride.

LOL. Maybe when it re-opens. Send me a case of Geritol first so I can get in shape. 🙂

Been awhile since I was there on a big bike.
