Bikes going to bike shop to get valves adjusted. Bike just rolled over to 24000 miles so it’s time. IMG_4735.jpeg.8af77ad562b4603c2eeecfdf5667ce9e.jpeg

I'm at 28K, taking the bike in for a valve check and throttle body synch in a couple weeks.

Yeah I’m getting the throttle body synch also.

Here it is. It says valves were in spec. I rode it around the block. It does feel like it runs better. And it’s a peace of mind knowing valve’s were checked. I’ve had the bike 3 years always did maintenance on time. IMG_4745.jpeg.98631a55e3762e23b4a46e932bbbb149.jpegIMG_4746.jpeg.78cbb454bcadce88939f422412255ade.jpeg

5,500km trip on the STQT (Sentier Trans Quebec Trail), which is not a trail per se, but rather mostly public gravel roads.

nice pics. How challenging were the roads, any technical sections?

Thanks
The whole track is "designed" to be accessible to beginners and also to overlanders.
You will encounter sections that are a little sandy, rocky, muddy, narrow, but nothing that can stop an average/beginner rider on a loaded adventure bike.
Some sections can get tricky when it rains.
I highly recommend aggressive tires, at least 50/50.
Speed/time will be the major difference between a beginner and an experienced rider.

This summer...on the way back home from work. Sometimes I can "cut some corners" to make the ride a bit more interesting 🙂

A quick ride through a nearby park before dropping the bike off for its first service.

From todays ride - Even the small altitude changes in the mountains of the Mid-Atlantic states can make a big difference in snow cover this time of year.

Down low to higher up.

I thought this shot was kind of cool as it shows the snowless valley just below me.

A little bit out of left field, on my recent holiday to Thailand managed to spot a couple of T7 beauties while travelling around, couldn't help but snap a few shots.

Definitely made wish I had my own bike while I was there 😉

You weren't a part of Adam Riemann's Aussie gang terrorizing the Thai countryside on CRF300, were you?  If you haven't seen his YouTube videos with the story/film, you should check it out.  It's nuts how fast they ride in those slick/snotty conditions...respect!!  Part 1 and 2 are up for your viewing pleasure.
