Atlas Throttle Lock

NZIAN

Recommended Posts

Just fitted an Atlas Throttle Lock. Good quality build, easy fit, simple on/off operation. Used the bottom fit option, as recommended, and it appears to sit well and on off switches easy to operate. Settled on a slightly higher rear fitting for the lock as I reasoned the switches would fall naturally under my thumb at highway speeds. The only problem would appear to be the body getting in the way of the starter switch, but long term use may prove otherwise. I will give it a few months of use and then update this review.

No, nowhere near it, about 3 inch clearance between tank and throttle lock. Last picture shows lock at rest or idle, 2nd picture at 4000 rpm, 3 rd picture fully open throttle. 4th photo shows the position of the thumb over the starter button at idle position. It has a nice solid feel about it.
