What is this and where does it go?

SteadyHorse

Question

Fell off while I was removing front plastics.  Made of rubber, fell from the left side of the bike, and has an L on it, so I assume there's one on the right, but can't find it.  The flat side is sticky, but not sticky enough apparently.  About 1.5" square.  Any help is appreciated.

Black plastic cover on the lower end of the tank (the one with venting slots, called "air ducts").

Edit: If I remember correctly, the rubber parts sit on the upper end of those air ducts. There should be some very thin lines marking the outline position of the rubber pad.

Sorry, for some reason image upload doesn't work right now.

Edit II: Now it works!

Yes ^ the adhesive marks where it sticks on should be visible. It’s a rubber spacer that also stops noises from vibration.
Mine felt out when I’d taken the side panels and the tank off to change the spark plugs, you should be able see glue marks and figure out its reassembly location. sorry no pics

Oh, the air ducts!  I went crazy going all over the frame looking for it, now I get it. Thanks!

Just completed my first ever throttle body sync!

Did you use a gauge of some kind to measure each butterfly opening?
