Box of mystery hardware came with my bike!

RiderEh

Question

Can someone help identify what this hardware may be for? My bike came with the OEM front crash guard, center stand, givi/yamaha boxes, and rear rack if that helps. I think the hardware in the second photo is for the passenger pegs, and the side stand bolt.

Passenger peg bolts have hex heads, should be the ones on the left (upper picture).

I can't see any sidestand bolt there. They are much beefier, plus the sidestand itself has a special "shoulder screw" (dunno if it's the right word for this thing).

Thanks, when the passenger pegs are removed do you put these same bolts back in to keep ingress of dirt? They seem long. I was going to use the 4 on the bottom picture for that. I think I'm missing a few passenger peg washers but no big deal there.

It looks like remnants from a few different rear rack/luggage racks. Those silver spacers look like they're from the Rally Raid soft luggage rack. It bolts on to the passenger peg mounts and includes optional shorter bolts to plug the holes of the passenger peg mounts if you want to discard the mounts. Not sure what the black spacers are from, but those four bolts where rear racks bolt into are the only place I've seen spacers of that length used.

Some racks include longer bolts for the passenger pegs to accommodate their mount, so those longer bolts might be from another rack. But I'm pretty sure they're M8, which is a pretty common size.

Yeah, they're too long. If the thread fits you can of course just use the ones in the lower pic!

Thanks, seems weird that they would give me these then, unless they were from another bike! Looks like it all may go into the miscellaneous bolt bins I have then.  I would have thought some of the hardware would have been stock from the crash bars but I guess not.
