Delkevic full exhaust

Got a Delkevic full system with the 14" carbon oval can for my 2023 T7 as a winter upgrade. I didn't think I'd get to do anything other than hear some throttle blips, but the weather's been so mild here in the northern US Rockies for the start of winter I did manage a ride. With the included baffle installed, I'm experiencing a nice, throatier tone at idle, a pleasant roar with the throttle cracked a bit or more, some decel popping, and very mild volume increase from stock at steady speed. I do not have any intake mods nor any ECU mapping/flashing changes. I'm not sure I could ask for much more out of it, and I supposed I could pull the baffle if I want to get hooligany. Install was pretty straightforward but you will need an O2 sensor extension cable if you've got a Euro5-style bike (i.e. cat up front with high-mounted O2 sensor), and Delkevic doesn't include one or sell one separately that I'm aware of. Love the product with one exception, the replacement copper gasket header rings included with the kit are too small in outside diameter and slip around in the head's exhaust ports. My OEM exhaust wasn't torqued to spec (very loose) and they didn't look too crushed, so I reused the stock copper gaskets and don't seem to have any leaks after torquing the header bolts to factory spec. Customer service was great and helped me get a set of headers fast though they were out-of-stock when I ordered while they were running a 10% off deal, responded to email quickly, and tossed in a freebee for my patience waiting for the headers. I haven't seen another system that matches Delkevic's quality for their price. I don't know if the deal is as good from Delkevic UK for you overseas folks.

@406T7

Stumbled onto the Delevik exhaust this evening and did a quick search leading me to your post without a reply.

Have you been enjoying the upgrade?  I really like the symmetry, as well as the overall appearance of the muffler.  Some of the exhaust solutions for the T7 are godawful looking, while the Delevik is easy to look at and takes nothing away from the very gorgeous T7.

Hey Tenerica. I've got a couple thousand miles on the full Delk system now and still loving it. Nothing has moved or come loose despite some pretty rough off-pavement riding. The only change I've noticed during the miles is a slightly brassy patina that has appeared on the bright chrome outlet of the can. I've got the same can on my KLR, which had already tarnished a little, so I was expecting it, and it doesn't bother me - still think it's better looking that most other aftermarket cans for the T7. Still liking the growl under heavier throttle and lack of droning at interstate speeds. It does decel pop quite a bit under the right conditions (e.g., throttle closed downhill coasting), but that also doesn't bother me. I usually wear ear plugs (mostly due to wind noise that can be over 85db about 50mph and up), but on shorter/slower trips I may go without just so I can listen to the mild thunder of the Delkevic. I haven't checked the price recently, but even without the discount I had when I bought, they were much more reasonable than many other popular choices.
