Any tall riders out there with footpegs tips?

@T7GR  You could put a slit piece of tubing on the bottom of the shifter tip, held on by cable ties.

Well that kinda worked out! I still need 1 centimeter more.. When I have time I will use my dremel and trim it. Thanks!

I am 193 cm and have the pivot pegs with lowering flip mod. I feel these are very good. Together with flipping the stem to move the bar forward and up, and the +4 cm rally seat, I feel I can get into a good but also comfortable attack position while standing and some extra comfort for sitting position as well. Not quite able to ride straight back standing up even with a stretch. The foot lever positions are a non problem since one adjusts them for stand up use anyway. Sitting you just need to compromise. At times I have been thinking of getting some pegs that move 1-2 cm back as well, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Perhaps I will get some Bosley's to test out at some point.

I went with the  Moose # 1620-0647. These are 1/2-inch rearward offset, no lowering (any peg that fits the YZ450F will fit).

I've not experienced any benefits to lowering the pegs and it seems to make issues with shifters and brakes on lots of bikes, the law of unintended consequences. YMMV.

6'4" tall (Mostly legs) with size Garne 45 motocross boots for reference

I opted for the lower priced spread as the brand name units were far too rich for my retired budget.

Not to mention many of the high priced spreads probably come from the same shop in Chiner.

These lower the pegs 15mm and move them back 10mm. This required adjusting the rear brake pedal and brake light switch.

For the shift side I lowered the lever but this caused interference with the large aluminum piece that the foot peg attaches to.

When I attempted to select 1st gear after adjusting the shift lever I discovered it would not go into gear. To remedy I had to grind away some material so the shifter could reach it's full downward travel to allow for shifting. A small price to pay so I could enjoy an inexpensive lowering bracket.

Now the cockpit has a more relaxed feel. Standing on the pegs is far more comfortable and natural feeling.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. There that was easy!

Cheers.

Thanks.  These brackets (below link) bent when I dropped the bike in my garage and the footpeg then stuck out at an odd angle.
