I'm looking to purchase a phone mount for my T7 and have narrowed my choices down to the two phone mounts below. Which would you purchase?

I have bought the dr2 almost a year ago. Im happy with it, it is strong and I like industrial look of it.

A year ago I choose between this and a Quadlock. The DR2 is heavier than a quadlock and the mounting/dismounting takes a bit more time, but i dont like the quadlock because you always need to buy another case when you have another phone, it is not so secure and it is plastic. After a year of use, i would still choose for the DR2.

First couple of months I had it fitted to the steering bar. Later I changed it to the top bar at the dashboard. The top position is much better while navigating.

I have bought with it a disk so you can change the orientation (portrait/landscape) while driving. That work fine. I don't know if I have installed the disk as the manual discribes, because i think than it would come more forward.

Mounting/dismounting your phone is easy but not something you can easily do while driving. (But maybe that a good thing 😉)

When it arrives in the mail all the screws are pre installed but not tightened. That is good because you have to adjust the size, etc. but it feels very cheap and wobbly. When you mout it to the bike and tighten all the bolts than it feels premium.

I didn't buy a wireless pad because i think wireless charges to slow, i installed a cable with a 180° usb connector.

Just my thoughts

If you like it I will make/search for a picture.
