Chigee Smart Riding System

Hey all.
Searched the forum, but didn't find any information about this gadget - Chigee Smart Riding System.
This is one of the best upgrades I've done so far.
Right now, in addition to an EXACT speedometer and tripmeter (by its own GPS), I also get tire pressure, battery voltage and also the option to connect cameras both backwards and forwards.
Then I also get the phone completely through Apple Carplay or Android Auto.
I think this was a finesse that I missed in the Tener, because Yamaha's so-called phone integration is a joke in my opinion.
An ODB dongle is also being developed, and it allows for even more input from the motorcycle.
Unfortunately no dealer here in Sweden, so I had to buy from Norway, but well worth the trouble.

So, it may be worth looking at for those of you who wish to get a really good integration with the mobile phone.

Drive carefully, and have a good season in 2024 (it just started for me).

Funny I had been looking at this last few weeks and the cheaper alternatives.

I decided in the end to go with a DMD2 T665 due to the advanced off-road mapping and long term reliability

The chigee was a close second with the safety camera and tyre pressure monitoring. One item I was worried about was killing my phone battery. I have a charger for phone on the bike however I prefer to have my phone on my person in case I am separated from my bike.

I would like hear back on your long term use and phone battery as this was one of the main deciding factors for me.

One other area I found hard swallow was for full system it was over €700 plus import tax for me in Ireland. So the DMD2 system and a separate camera setup would work out cheaper.

Nice bit of kit.  If I didnt already have a Garmin Zumo I might look into something like this.  Having cameras onbaord might be kinda fun to toggle to in certain situations.

Hello.

I also have a Garmin CX276, but it is mounted on the handlebars.
I don't think this is a complete replacement for my Garmin, more of a fun addition, which I also get complete integration with the mobile phone.

And then it looks like this, when I also have my Garmin mounted.

It comes with a clamp to put on the handlebars, but I have mounted it on the "stick" instead, using another mount that you could buy.
I placed the GPS as in the picture.
It will be a fixed installation, so it is not easy to move between different bikes, you have to factor that into the calculations.
