Bridgestone Battlax AX41

Just took delivery yesterday of a pair of AX41s for my T7. Will be spooning them on soon for use on some upcoming BDR rides, and really looking forward to trying them out.

The TKC70 Rocks is for my GS, and will soon be mated there with the half worn 6,700 mile Dunlop Mission front I'd removed last fall.

I had the opportunity to test them thoroughly yesterday when I had a 500km spin, including 210km of TET in northern France (Lorraine).

The AX41 performs really well on dry tarmac. I had 2 slides in sharp bends on wet tarmac bit I can't say if something was spilled on the ground.

Offroad, it's very nice. Plenty of grip, plenty of side grip, easy controllable in drifts, ... quite everything you'd want from an adventure tyre.

Then comes french sticky wet clay 🤔 I have no idea if there is any tyre that would bring you foreward on (or in) such an underground. But it definitely was fun!

Crossed the US with a new pair of these and am happy with them.  They were good in the dirt and on long stretches of highway in pouring rain.  Can cruise comfortably up to around 85 mph/140 kph before front starts to slightly wobble. With ear plugs in they're not much noticeably louder than the stock Pirellis.   After around 4k miles/ 6500km the center block is pretty worn but not down to the wear bars.
