Help: does anyone knows this rubber part?

Hello all!

new member here, just bought a brand new 2024 tenere 700. So happy about it!
Need your help folks because I found this weird piece a rubber hitting my left leg during my last ride, and I’m wondering if it came From my motorcycle?

since this thing looks new as my tenere.

anyone as any thoughts on this part ? Ever seen that on a tenere ?

Looks like an insert from a car’s console/ key tray. Might’ve flicked up off the road. 
it would probably have a Yamaha code on it or at least a plastic mould date.
