Really cool. Makes using bigger tablets for navigation much easier. I'm a bit sceptical if the readability is good enough though.

At my age's eyesight, lack of colored indicator/warning lites vs an unreadable icon especially jiggly offroad is a no-go.  Hence a Tab 7 for Nav.

Agree, colored LEDs are way better visible than a small LCD symbol.

Are they retaining the original board and relocating it under the side panel?

Not sure if I got it right, but I think they have some kind of adapter located under the side panel, not the original dash.

That makes more sense, I'm just curious how they deal with the odometer since that is stored in the dash.

I think the have copied/reverse engineered the panel and locate it under the panels. It looks like they have also entered some of their own custom code as thier panel rembers your ABS settings whick i like

Looking at the pics of their warning lights. i think because it minimul enough the warnings will be obvious enough.

hardest part be to see them if locate it low doen where your not actually able see the dash in your direct line of sight (think enduro bike style dash where needs make a concious effort to view it)

Got proof for it?

Have you ever changed the dash?

you can how ever transfer it. tough i dont know how.

ecu does not store mileage what so ever.

Yes you can, you have to dump the MCU's memory, make the change to the dump, and then re-flash it. You can find info on pinouts and the formula used to convert an actual mileage (well, km) to the stored binary format online. While not difficult to actually do, it requires relatively expensive tools to do the flashing. This is mostly done by people looking to fraudulently reduce the odometer.

Another option is to relocate the stock display to the side and mount your GPS to the right of the display with one of these GPS Stabilizer Mounts.

GPS STABILISER MOUNT - for Yamaha T7 models with standard display screen (not digital) %

TFT (Digital) / GPS STABILISER MOUNT ( for Yamaha World Raid & T7 models with TFT screen ) %
