I'm looking for the lower fork guards, does anyone know which one is normally used?

Never used one on any of the last 20 or so bikes I have had.

What exactly are you looking to protect?

Those nicecnc guards look like a good option for deflecting things away from the disks.

Those polisport plastics don’t look like they’re made to fit the T7.

CamelADV makes a small aluminum plate that protects the mounting tabs on the stock fork guards and they also sell better plastic replacement guards that won’t crack like the stock ones:

There are so many things to love about the 700 Tenere but Yamaha's choice of body plastic material is not one of them! For reasons unknown, Yamaha opted to make the T7's body panels from brittle...

Our pre-sale is over, the fork guards are now in stock and ready to ship!As with most ADV and street bikes, the T7's body panels are made of ABS plastic, which can crack with even minor impacts...

Regardless of what you choose, make sure you replace the steel screws in the lower mounting holes of the fork guards with plastic ones or you’ll risk cracking the aluminum mounts in a fall.
