OEM Exhaust outlet enlargement

As an elderly rider (66) and living in an area of numerous horse riders, a loud exhaust is inconvenient. So I modified the standard silencer enlarging the exhaust outlet by 62% which is a large increase. I just cut the outlet of the exhaust off and replaced it with a 45mm exhaust tube, which was squashed in the vice to fit the end cap shape. Bought the brand new silencer off of ebay for £38 and cost £5 in parts, original silencer can be refitted if required.

 

Will see how it sounds in a few days when I get time to fit it.

Did mine years ago, it'll sound better.  I also replicated the flare on the screen side.

In UK we do not get the screen spark arrrestor, ours is welded in.
