Moving the T7....

//Update: I cross posted with my Bronco group and it is a no go. I have 350lbs at the hitch and would need a tongue that's ~12" long to clear the rear tyre //

I'm moving to Alaska and was originally planning to trailer my T7 to Alaska. I have a 22 Ford Bronco 2Dr with a standard OEM tyre & wheel mounted to the tail gate.

But I started seeing these trailer hitch mounts for moving bikes. Has anyone used one? Thoughts? Brand suggestions? Loading issues?

I was looking at the Harbour Freight model, but I am open to additional ideas...

OK with smaller bikes ie WR450 etc

Not sure about 200kg of T7

What's the max tongue weight of your receiver hitch on the vehicle?  You are probably very close to it (or exceed it) when you combine the weight of the hitch rack and bike.  I personally wouldn't do it  if you are close to it - I prefer a fair amount of margin in situations like this.

I've carried my 254 lb Beta dirtbike on a hitch carrier with my 2dr Jeep,  once!  I got up to about 55 mph and felt the steering get vague with higher speed so I returned home, unloaded it and used my pickup to haul it. I agree with @SXXP, don't do it.   Get a trailer that keeps the bulk of the weight on the trailer tires and keeps the tongue weight within the vehicle manufacturers limits.
