Rubber Mounted Bars?

Hawkerjet

Recommended Posts

I would like to know if there are rubber grommets in the top T-Clamp that the bar riser bolts go through?

When I push back and forth on the bars they move a bit suggesting rubber in the triple clamp.

Has anyone taken off the stock bar risers to see if there is rubber there?

Yes. I didn't specifically check the material between the triple clamp and the risers when I had it apart, but looks like rubber or some sort of flex material to me.

Hey thanks John. I should have checked with you first as you have had your front end apart.

Those look like a rubber bushing with a sleeve through the center. I was thinking there was a rubber component since the bars would move a fair amount under force.

Another method for vibration reduction is Flexx Bars as they help reduce the hits your hands, wrists & arms take when things get sketchy. I've run them on my dirt bikes for around 20 years, great product!
