2WheelDynoWerks Tune this afternoon

Just a quick recap on initial impressions and review of customer service for 2WDW's out of WA.

So I got a wild hair today and decided to ride over to 2WheelDynoWorks in Kirkland, WA. I had emailed and asked them if I could swing by to reflash my ECU and they said they could re-flash during business hours no problem.

I arrived and met Pat at the front desk. Within 25 minutes he had my ECU re-flashed for my 2023 T7, Snorkel Delete, Stock Headers (EURO5), and Slip On Camel/Black Widow Rally slip on. Pat was a solid dude. We chewed the fat on bikes while this went on and I oggled the fleet of bikes. Pat also educated me on the practical aspects of their tune and that particulars of the CP2 engine and was obviously very knowledgeable.

My ride home was approximately 1 hour 50 minute. I Immediately noticed it was much easier to modulate the throttle from a complete stop. The roll on power was increased and MUCH smoother from a stop. As I road down the interstate, I oddly noticed that the bike was less "vibby" through the handlebars at 70+ mph. Also lower temps throughout my ride. While I didn't get to test it off-road yet or on back twisties, it was noticeably easier to get up to speed and even better was the easier roll off throttle. As Pat explained and the vendor page threads explain, the lack of abruptness from cutting the throttle and smoothness of the throttle is so much improved. Additionally, blipping the throttle to downshift gears is much improved. I did notice its amazing to have passing power in 6th gear vs feeling like a dead fish at 75+. Now its not rip your hands of the handlebars power at that speed, but its noticeably more. A 4 HP in increase in the right places makes a huge difference. Keep in mind this was just with my fat ass on the bike, no bags or load to speak of.

So far I have no real impressions on the possibility of decreased MPG. Regardless, my winter project is to slap on the Camal Tank to handle the range issue and I have a 1.3 gallon bladder in the interim. Knowing me I'll probably just slap on the Black Widow Headers at some point over the same winter period.

Can't recommend the staff and services at 2WheelDynoWorks enough.
