UPDATE #8 (Jul 6th)

 

I have news on Gilles and MWR...

 

Gilles sent us all the Gold Chain Adjusters to fill customer's orders.  They informed me that the Black adjusters will be ready to ship (to us) on the 24th of July.  My guess is that with COVID-19 hitting Europe hard, they are consolidating their anodizing into one very big batch of Black, because we received all Gold, and zero Black.

For the people who ordered Gold Chain adjusters, we are are still waiting on your air filter and air box cover to arrive from MWR. 

 

MWR - the frames arrived and they are getting our order ready to ship.  As soon as I have tracking, I'll pass it on.

 

If anyone who ordered a Gold chain adjuster doesn't want to wait for the MWR items to arrive, we could ship the chain adjusters out now for $7.  PM me if you'd like this option.

Just got word that the MWR Filters are shipping to us Monday or Tuesday of next week!!!  Not too much longer now!

Paul, you are a good man. Guys, this delay was not Pauls fault. He had no idea how long it would take to get these in. It's Covid 19's fault, nobody was prepared for this shet.

Got my stuff 2 weeks ago. Didnt get the airbag stuff, just the nut and adjusters. Looks like great stuff. Now I just need a bike....

MWR is here!  We're in the process of shipping now!  You should receive tracking numbers in the next 24-36 hours (check your spam folders if you don't see it)

Got my parts today! Thanks @BellissiMoto.  

 

1 issue i'm having is installing the filter cover.  I've installed multiple air filters and covers before, but I feel like an idiot.  The holes aren't lining up on the filter cover part #MC-095-13.  Anyone actually installed this yet and can you advise? thanks all

I will look into this STAT!

 

I do know the part number for the FZ-07 and Tenere 700 are the same from different brands, so I don't see why it shouldn't fit, but from your pics it looks like yours doesn't line up.  I haven't put it on my own bike yet because the Doc hasn't cleared me to ride just yet.

 

After work today, I'll install mine and see what's what (my filtercover is at the shop).  I am contact with the owner of MWR on What's APP, so if I have issues I'll message him immediately and let him know.  I'll keep you posted.

 

Worst case is to run the stock snorkel for now with the MWR filter until we get it sorted, which is still way way better than the stock filter 🙂

I figured it out.  The MWR filter and cover fit one way.  The raised cover has to be towards the front of the bike. It looks like the MT07s raised cover is opposite.  It does fit with no issues. Thanks @BellissiMoto
