Loop Round Thetford Forest

Good loop round Theford Forest today. Plenty of sand and whoops to test out the suspension. Which reached is maximum a couple of times. Bike was brilliant though. Rode 80 miles on the road there in comfort a 75mile trail loop then 80 miles back. Not many other bikes out there that offer that kind of usability!

It may be a Parliament of T7's, depending on the wide eyedness of the riders!

If they were all in black, it could be a murder of T7's!

did you map your track, if you did can you upload it on view ranger?

I recorded the loop and have it has a GPX. I don’t use view ranger but will email it to you if you want?

Yes please, that would be great. 

Being thetford i assume its mostly flat & fast?

It’s predominantly flat and not technical, but there are a lot of whoops and sudden deep sand here and there to catch you out.

Yeah, fine. Sits at 80mph ok. Wouldn’t want to do much more for prolonged periods

Just picked up my Tenere last month. Would be very grateful for the GPX file for the Thetford loop.

 

Also, I noticed none of you have crash bars on the bike - is this intentional or will you be getting some later? I was thinking of not putting them on but add protection for casings etc, but really undecided - what do you think?
