Popular Post Stephen H
My son and I planned a day out on our Tenere’s he was aboard his blue one whilst I was on the faster red variant. The weather forecast was mixed so we headed out to the Yorkshire Dales to find some trails. We chose the quieter roads to get there and found a really good trail that had a mix of everything apart from rock drop offs which suited me fine. We met some fellow bikers on the trail who very kindly pointed us in the direction of another terrific trail which was challenging in places but just as much fun as the first one. The weather when we reached the highest point turned from sunshine to torrential rain within seconds and it was also at the most difficult section but thank you to my son for helping me get through it. From then on the trail was a joy to ride. I was surprised there were not any other people out getting there bikes dirty. After we got back on to tarmac we headed for a spot we know to have our very late lunch and a brew. Luckily the rain had passed for the day so the chairs came out and the Kelly Kettle was fired up. A really good lunch and a chance to dry out did us both good. I fired the satnav up for our return journey and chose the bendy roads route which turned out really well and was a good end to what can only be described as a fantastic Fathers Day and the Tenere’s are a good bike for the trails we used.
