If anyone in the US is doing a Dakar inspired T7, paintwork, decals,  wrap etc remember Chuck Stearns,  ' Desert Boy'...an American who was part of the Tenere's Dakar heritage.  Anyone in Europe doing a Dakar style Tenere usually adds a nod to Jean Claude Olivier ....maybe in the US it would be nice to acknowledge Chuck.   Cheers,  Steve Screenshot_20200626-183150_Gallery.thumb.jpg.81f4c449f83ff4a9d62f147bc9ecbc10.jpg

Great rider who left us way too soon.  I found this article in German? and converted it to English in Google Chrome.  The link doesn't work in Firefox, but will if you paste the link in Chrome and select English it should.
