Warn XT17 close comparable Winch Warn VRX 25-S

Some of you may have an interest in a winch to either lift a fallen bike or get you unstuck if you happen to be riding alone.

The premier, older and never found WARN XT17 has a close replacement. I called and discussed the search for a XT17 with the WARN rep.

He stated the closest replacement would be the WARN VRX 25-S  (S for synthetic rope).

 

Note the newer model is a full 10+ Lbs heaver the the XT17 model. It doesn't come with a remote but you can get one for it.

 

Just a tip for those of you who anticipate or would like a winch that's as close as possible to the WARN XT17 adventure model.
