Tenere t7 prototype!

Spotted this on instagram.. Could this be a long range t7 with large tank?

From what they’ve covered up, probably. Would a larger tank ruin the way the bike feels (weight)? Looks like a different bash plate too. Let’s hope the euro 5 emissions don’t ruin it the engine.

I don't think the engine is going to suffer to much, reports from tracer 700 with the same euro 5 engine seem to be positive, the only ugly bit is the cat on the headers... Tank looks huge on the prototype.

As exciting as I am with possible larger tank from OEM, it is slowly looking like a KTM Duke from the back...

Out of experience with the delay between first rumours about the T7 and the handover of the first bikes : how many years will it take to see this in the shops ?

Probably not that many as 99 percent of bike has already been developed and the changes to euro 5 are all in production. 

But you never know

Hi,

Hard to tell by the pic, but the engine doesn't really look like a CP2.

In the german Tenere-forum we came to the conclusion: It might be a prototype of a Tenere 900 using the CP3 or a bigger twin likely to replace the Super Tenere 1200Z or to be added between 1200 and T700 (imho less likely)

It looks like some sort of cover over the whole front half of the bike. Does anyone else think that it has the OEM crash bars on it?
