SIDE STAND BYPASS SWITCH (WHERE TO DISCONNECT

The simplest bypass is to access the wire as it runs along the bottom rail and splice it, terminate and seal it.

Second, no maybe third thing I did to my bike. Isolate and remove the side stand switch, electrically and physically.

I think I have Yamaha disease...

The black connector in the below pictures are the best option.  Plug in the T7 bypass switch or splice together.  All parts that should be removed are in the last picture

Im glad for the write up on how to do this in this thread- thanks. With that said, in hindsight, personally I would not remove the hardware part but just cut and splice the wires. It's very time consuming and you have to break loose several factory loctite(ed) bolts that I dont think is necessary.

I  made a switch and put it undear the seat in case of problem 🙂
