I bought my T7 as a 54kW and it is registered as a 54kW.

Ā

Today i noticed that it has written 35kW on frame sticker šŸ¤”

Ā

Do you also have 35kW on your frame sticker?

Hello yobinad,

Ā

Today i discovered the same 35kw sticker on my mt07.

My bike is also registered as 55kw.

Did you find any answer for that?

If it pulls like a 30 year old tenere and trucks pass you on the motorway, itā€™s 35kw.Ā
im guessing it is a local thing not manufacturer, like in the uk where a dealer can make a bike restricted for licence reasons. Take it to your dealer, and they should be able to remove the restriction. In the old days it was a restricted diaphragm/hole inserted between the carb and motor. Probably electronic or something nowadays. Shouldnā€™t be an issue. Ā Let us know how it goes. šŸ‘

For my mt07 the sticker is located on the left side of the headlight. (check attachment)

Kw is printed at the last line and its really hard to read it.

Ā

I dont really think i have the 35kw version.

I've seen videos showing 35kw bikes struggling to get 180km/h.

This is not the issue with mine.

I just want to be sure that they send me the correct version. šŸ˜•

Yeah. I think it would be instantly noticeable.
When I first test rode a 700 I was amazed at how similar it feltĀ to my 1vj, probably even more so to a 3aj. They felt relatedā€¦.

Ā

Then I jumped back on my old girl and expected big things of her. I forgot I needed to send a letter to the front brake to slow down, and how she feels likeĀ sheā€™ll explode trying to hit 90šŸ˜‚. Ā Inside lane all the way.Ā
this 7Ā definitely has twice the power. šŸ¤˜

still love my 6 though. If only they put a kickstart and a well placed exhaust on the 7. Perfection.Ā

I believe it has to do with being advertised as A2 license compatible, and they made the same sticker for both models.

Mine has the VIN number printed at the L3e-A3 side of the sticker and has no restriction on the air filter.

As far as i know the L3e-A2 is related with <=35kW engines.
