Finally out for a ride

Out for a ride over the October long weekend, Nothing hard, a lot of dirt and Twisty tar roads.

Sunny Corner, Dark Corner, Mt Horrible, Red Hill road (back road into Sofala) across the Turon river twice (concrete courseway’s easy)

Sunday, we decided to go to Hillend and take the Ullamalla road to Orange.

When we arrived at Ullamalla rd, the road closed sign was up, so we decided to make our way down to the Macquarie river a have a look, 21 km to the river, road was good a bit rocky at the river, talked with a local farmer about the crossing, about a metre deep hole at the beginning, becoming shallower, with large rock on the bottom, water was muddy and fast flowing.

We decided not to push our luck and turned around headed back to Hill End, Bathurst the Portland were we where staying.
