How are you getting on with the Kriega bags as panniers?

They are just right for what I need on a daily basis. I've protected the panels they rest on with some protective film. They are probably not much good for a trip away..but you can use bigger Kriega bags on the same base. I like the Mosko Moto Reckless 40 , for longer trips.  But as a neat pannier,  really well made  that doesn't stick out too much and looks good and is really functional the Kriega's are great 👍 Cheers,  Steve

Hi, yes, my favourite too...I wanted to do something that was a nod, an appreciation of the Dakar Tenere's of old.  The colour is Faraway Blue,  from RS bike Paints, and the Decals i had made up by friends at Cathedral Signs in Chichester.  I had the panels sprayed in the Blue, fitted them back on the bike and fitted the decals.  Then took them off and lacquered and baked them!. A lot of work but it's what keeps me sane and I'm really pleased with the results.  I'm just about to spray the wind deflectors and the inner part of my Powerbronze adjustable screen...hopefully it will look 👌 🆗️.   Sorry for rambling on😃 Steve

Thats really helpful thanks - If you don't mind - I might do the same....  I am not a million miles from Chichester - near Newbury  - would you be OK  if I asked Cathedral signs if they can do the same for me... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say...

Yes, sure...just bear in mind that the decals really need to be lacquered over for best results, although it's pretty tough vinyl.  I'm sure they would post you a sample to test. Steve
