Move to new part of thread as default

When I click on a thread how do i make it go to the new content at the end instead of page 1 of 16?  The MT07 forum does that.  I have already marked the entire site as read.

@WRXer If you click on the black dot or star next to the title of the thread,  it will take you to the most recent post in that thread. Hope this helps.

If I understand you correctly, each thread should have the forum members name and timestamp of the last post on the right hand side. Click the timestamp to go directly to the most recent post. On mobile it shows up as the forum members picture and timestamp.

i don't use mobile...finally found the setting this is it...switched to the last setting

I agree... it would be awesome to be able to see the first unread message when clicking on a thread.  i cannot find any black dot or any other setting that allows me to move forward to the first unread message like i can on other forums.

@Dirtrider99x Curious as to what device you're viewing the threads on.  I use both an Android Samsung Tab S and a S9 phone and both devices display the black dot or star to the immediate left of the thread title.  Same for my PC, but hovering the cursor over the dot displays " go to first unread post".

PC i use Google chrome and my ipad safari browser.  

 

after i open a thread, i do not see any dots to click on.  

 

i must be missing something.

The dot is displayed after selecting , All Activity > unread content.

ty. i found it.  its before you actually click on a thread.

 

im used to it being inside each thread.   operator error
