I had my bike from the dealer nearly a week when i noticed rust on all of the stock exhaust fasteners and washers. It has left rust stains on the matt silvery parts of the end can and on the brackets like the heel guard and heat shield. when I took it in a week later for it's first service I got the dealer to raise a warranty job to get the parts changed. while I was there I looked over their demo bike which is out in all the lovely welsh sun (rain) and it is absolutely fine. anyone else experiencing rusty bits. The dealer says they haven't seen this before.

Rode my 700 twice before forced storage for three months in shed due to Covid, lockdown and unfriendly weather in UK Peak District. Total less than 500 miles. Result rusty exhaust end cover due to bad quality bolts with captive washers - very dissappointing after trading in my 7 year old BM 800GS with less rust. Only cause can be condensation  - my car stays outside in all weathers  - no rust! Even if built to a price I think this cannot bne acceptable.

yep, mine is doing the same month old 100 miles on the clock (due to lock down here in Wales).
