What‘s the Secret of the hole

I went to my dealer today to ask if my T7 is in sight. Unfortunately no. But he had 2 T7 on site for a cooperation with KEDO. This was my chance to see if the hole on the swingarm of the Concept Bike is still there, as I saw it at a trade show. Yes, it is. Closed with a rubber cap. Does anyone know what this is for?

Without seeing the bike in person, it's either a bolt access hole or a byproduct of manufacturer production step such as machining or welding???

My 2012 wr250f has one...allows access to the dog bone link...

The Super Tenere has the rubber plug/casting hole on the inside of

the swing arm.

To me, it seems that @prwatts is right.

Doesn't give access to anything, but the swing is hollow and you can't allow water and debries to enter.

I used mine, as did others too, to route the chain oiler hose through it.
