today i sorted the wide open bog and lean condition with the help of the updated -83 ydis carb. Now it runs good!

 

 

Sweet. I’ve been an Xt fan since bond was chased down a toboggan run by “baddies” on them.  Love my 700, but you can rebuild most of the single with a 5mm Allen key. I do wish my 1vj had fuel injection on the odd occasion though. But at least they are proper off grid. 🤘
