I am also interested in this, as i have the OEM rear rack, and i would like to buy mosko panniers and they recommend outback motortek pannier rack. So i sent a mail to outback motortek and they told me its not working together. Atm i don't know if its possible to use any kind of pannier rack from the none oem ones with the oem rear one.

After outback mtek i reached mosko , and they told me that the Oil Cooled Adapter can be used with the OEM pannier racks, so the mosko panniers can be used with the oem pannier rack.

what i found out for now.

The givi rack is compatible if you mod it a bit. I do not know the details.

Batangacase have a fully compatible rack that is cheap with optional x-plates like the outback motortek.

I'm trying to get a quote from him.

This is the exact reply what i received from mosko:

"Oil Cooled Adapter can be used for the OEM Yamaha pannier rack for the T700. There will be a very slight angle (between 2-3mm), as your off-set rack is 63mm, and our adapter covers 65mm."

So i checked today the prices, actually the mosko set in my country (Hungary) is much more expensive than the OEM aluminium one from yamaha. 😞

I'm considering getting the Batanga racks and then just cutting them down to have a slimmer profile. Also plan on getting something like huzar. Still kind of undecided yet though.

Edit: Batanga Case is being unresponsive... Soo much for that idea.

Will  review when i get them.

Also thinking about a huzar.

Not sure how certain this is but I've read HP Corse will be unveiling a competing exhaust to huzar next month.

How have it ended up @nolman? Have you succeeded in combining the OEM top rack with any side panniers rack?
