K-Tech has heard you!  A lot of people scoffed when they came out with their piston kit for the Tenere 700 OEM forks as they wanted a cartridge kit.  Ask and you shall receive!

The K-Tech Off Road Damping System has been designed for lightweight off road motorcycles. Designed and manufactured in the UK they use the highest quality materials and processes. The system provides the rider with control and confidences in demanding off road conditions. The cartridge features a hydraulic bottoming control system which protects the rider from severe impacts when landing from large jumps. The ORDS cartridges are adjustable for compression and rebound damping.

32 clicks independent compression adjustment

32 clicks independent rebound adjustment

Hydraulic bottoming control system

Direct replacement (No machining required)

Hard chrome piston rod

Aircraft grade aluminum

Hard anodized and super finished components

Wide range of spring rates available

Like original OEM fork internals many aftermarket cartridges are manufactured with non-anodized aluminum and/or mild steel components. It is important to compare the K-Tech design and manufacturing philosophy which goes the extra mile utilizing all hard anodized aluminum or hard chromed steel internal components. This detail reduces contaminants that build up in the fork fluids which reduces maintenance, prolongs durability and increases consistency of performance. Typically, users are surprised to see clean oil emerge when performing scheduled fork maintenance rather than dark, contaminated oil.

has anyone tried these?

My buddy has a set, and he likes them a lot.  Of course, that's completely subjective.  He liked how they react in the stroke, and the bottom out damping characteristics on big hits.  He actually jumps his 🙂

He has SRC crash bars, but took off the top bars to save weight.  After laying it down a hand full of times, he said he's going to put them back on 🙂
