Hi everybody! I’m not sure if anyone has just solved this question. Is it possible to fit on the original Yamaha carrier givi top and givi panniers? Yamaha’s luggages look identical if not twin to givi ones, so I ordered the rear rack from my dealer to install when i’ll Get the bike a trekker outback 42lt, cheaper than Yamaha top and well built.

Has anyone installed a givi on his bike using the original Yamaha carriers?

thanks a lot!enjoy your bikes!

p.s. take a look at the pics and tell me your opinion 😉

It is nit unusual for Givi to make top cases etc for other brands. The fittings on the rack are certainly Givi.

I looked at this one but at nearly 6kg it is too heavy for me.

So, is there anyone with the original rear rack that bought a Givi top case?

I fitted Givi Trekker 33L

Straight on to the Yamaha rack (removed the rack rubber feet as it fitted easier / better )

Neat top-box .

I had the same question and did some investigation online and at the Yamaha dealer.

All monokey topcases from Givi or Kappa will fit the Yamaha rear rack.

The distances between the fitting points are about 22 cm.

The monolock topcases will not fit.

There are some monokey lookalikes like Suzuki topcases, but these have different distances between the mounting points.
