Named mine Panam from the video game Cyberpunk. I just think the name fits.

Out of the numerous bikes I have owned in the past 50 years I have only named one.

That was a Triumph Bonneville, I called her the "Blue Bitch".

She was a cohort of "Lucas the Prince of Darkness."

I had to go down to Oklahoma for mine so I think "Okie" is fitting.

I named all three...one is the Super Tenere, the second is the Tenere 700, and the third I call the Tracer GT.

Cool names but not very original.

(I never named race bikes. they didn’t tend to last long )

So you're as unoriginal as me, I get it. I used to call my Super Tenere the Tenere. Now with the Tenere 700 in the house, can't just call the Super Tenere - Tenere any more. Oh what to do?

Using all my imagination, I've got it down to 2-sylable initials:

the DR

the WR

the S10

the T7

Apparently I dosed off in Creative Naming class.

My bike's name is "Steve Austin".

My buddy's bike's name is "Mr. Layhe".

I always personify my machines.

My T7 will be named "Exia", or "エクシア " as it's a Japanese bike and felt it needed to stay close to its roots 😅.

A bit geeky as Exia is the name of a Gundam, but I felt since I'll be piloting a big mean machine, it better be the deadliest of Japanese robot haha.

So Exia it is.

a buh-zillion years ago, on Rec.Moto  (usenet newsgroups,  i know, old)
there was a long long rant about people naming their bikes,  i cannot find it,  but the exec summary was

if you have enough of an emotional attachment to a hunk of metal, that you name it?
you MAY need to get a girlfriend.....

🙂🙂🙂

as i've aged, I agree with @Boondocker - - S10, T7, 305Honda, P-11Norton

enough descriptive that I can tell it from all the others.

I haven't named it but I do call it names.  None of them very nice.  Most often I call it "The Pig" on account of how hard it is to pick up sometimes.
