Insurance?

Have my new  tenere. Love it, everything I was hoping for it to be. Was blown away on what state farm wants to insure it. I'm 66 great driving record. My Cvo bagger Harely is $575.00 a year. This bike they want $850.00. Curious what you guys are paying?

I'm paying around that much. Reason being I jacked up my un-insured motorist where you can get financially nailed with too low coverage.

Search google advrider do you have enough insurance and learn. Many had to pay several hundred thou out of their pocket due to too low coverage.

I have good coverage across the board. Uninsured motorist. The same coverage for my Cvo bagger is 300.00 dollars more. I'm calling bullshit. Curious as to the insurance company's trying to put us into a crotch rocket bracket?

I'm in So Cal where everything is expensive and I'm paying $325 a year. I'm in my early 50's with a clean record and pretty high limits across the board. Geico Moto.

I’m insuring a dirtbike and T7 on the same policy with progressive. It’s $57/ month with my USAA number. There is a lot that goes into your fee. Ask people around you what you pay. I’m in Montana with a shorter riding season and lower population.

Im in SoCal, I have foremost. I insure my Tenere, my bonneville, and my GF's 125cc scooter. It's ~400 a year for all three - but liability only on all of them. I also "drive for 1000 miles a year only".

I used AIS to find Foremost for them. 33, no tickets, good driving record.

Full coverage through Progressive is $300 for the year based in Reno Nv.

I'm also with Geico. 2 Beta dual sports, plus the T7 run me $412 @ yr.  No tickets since rings were discovered around Uranus.

Progressive is jacking my rate up since I've renewed with them more than three times.  Apparently there is some type of discount that goes away if you renew with them more than three years.   Tenere only, record is spotless, no accidents, no claims, no citations, nothing.  They went from around $500 a year to $781 a year.   Geico is wanting under $500.   I'll be switching soon.

The rings of Uranus are intermediate in complexity between the more extensive set around Saturn and the simpler systems around Jupiter and Neptune. The rings of Uranus were discovered on March 10, 1977

I have State Farm great coverage, $100 deductible, $300K Uninsured, $360 a year.

I am 67 yrs. old clean record.

But I do have my home, 2 cars, 2 motorcycles all through State Farm, and I don't know how much this matters but I have had State Farm non-stop for 43 yrs.

Updated;

Thinking about it the main difference maybe I live in a town with a population of 169, I know that the zip code you live in has a lot to do with your rate.

I'm with Progressive also in CO.

I'm at $550 a year for three bikes, T7, KTM 500 both with full coverage and liability on a TTR125.

The T7 costs 3 times what the 500 does for some reason.

The way they do discounts is odd. For about two years I had insurance for a bike I no longer owned. If I removed it my premium went up.

One thing I learned years ago is your zip code can make a decent difference in premium even if you are in the same city.

I moved and switched zip codes and all of my insurances went down even though the houses are about 5 miles apart.

Since you are also in CO insurance across the board has gone up significantly in the last couple of years for me, everything from business to personal it's all gone up at a much higher rate than normal.

Harley Davidson Insurance was very reasonable for me. I'd look into them, they were way cheaper than Progressive quoted me.

Fyi, I moved to progressive. $500. Deductible. Uninsured motorist. In michigan we pay into catastrophic fund extra $100. State farm was $840@ yr. Progressive is $440@ yr. Thanks for the comments. Gieco doesn't sell motorcycle insurance in michigan.
