Crash bars and skid plate

Hello everyone!

I'm new to the adventure/off-road segment and have a lot of questions but I'll start whit the topic of  bike protection.
Just ordered my new Tenere 700 in the dealership. And I'm looking for a good combination of crash bars + skid plate.

I'm from Europe and from 2021 Terene has been modified to meet EURO5 emission standards so not all  old skid plate work.

I've got my sights on HEED Bunker , because it covers most of the delicate parts and has a good price,  but what skid plates are compatible whit this crash bar ? Which combination do you have ?

Dose the lower crash bar make sense or is it better to buy a set of R&G racing engine covers instead?

Maybe somebody  had experience crashing off-road and can suggest something from personal experience.

 Thank you for your time.

I have found that a good set of barkbuster style handguards protect things the most from falls, tip overs, etc.  A good skid plate is a must as the stock one is thin like foil.  I installed triple clamp engine covers and Outback Motortek lower bars, have used them all so far!
