+30mm cartridges

Tomás Longo

Recommended Posts

Hi guys what happens if I get bigger cartridges, which would raise the front end of the bike, while keeping the shock length stock?

How would the bike handle?

I'm a complete rookie when it comes to suspension.

I'm assuming you are referring to Rally Raid's +30mm LONGER fork internals kit. It MUST be paired with a longer shock (also available on RR's site). Otherwise you will be running an unbalanced suspension. I guess you could slide the forks up into the triple clamps a few mm's but then what is the point of longer fork travel. Please talk to John @ RR before you purchase anything. He's always lurking on here somewhere.

I think I have Yamaha disease...
